Geelong Retirement Village

The Retirement Village located in Geelong was under construction when we became involved. The project had experienced difficulties with the builder in relation to delivery to program and defective works for Stages 1 to 3. 

Our Managing Director Chris Huddart returned the project to program, budget and quality expectations within 12 months in Stage 4 which consisted of 28 ILUs.

The success of this stage has seen an expansion of our role to include management of the civil infrastructure, management of the design of all 69 remaining units and oversight of the selected builder within Stages 5 - 7. 

Project completion is expected in 2020. 

Project features include:

• 69 single storey independent living units (ILUs)
• 2 bedroom and bathroom units
• External alfresco areas 
• New pavilion and bowling green
• Extensive landscape design including a green wedge for residents enjoyment
• External fitness equipment incorporated into the landscape design
